I’ve been at this weightloss journey seriously since joining MFP about 5 months ago. Lately I go back & forth between being excited about how far I’ve come and frustrated with how far there is still to go. So today I’m taking the time to remember how much has changed in these 5 months.
- I am able to bend down & tie my own shoes.
- I am able to cross my legs.
- I have gone down 3 pant sizes.
- My shoes are now too big. I have a pair of dress shoes I have to buckle a notch tighter.
- My watch is now too big.
- I have lost 30 pounds.
- I don’t crave sweets nearly as much even though I have a sugar tooth. (Well except for that TOM)
- I’ve trained my body to eat 5-6 times a day, and I don’t even have to remember anymore what time it is…my body tells me now 🙂
- I am seeing muscle definition in my legs & arms.
- I can miss working out for nearly a week and get back at it as if I never missed a beat. My body is getting used to the working out.
- I am gaining definition in my face, especially my nose.
- People who haven’t seen me in a while think I’ve lost way more than i tell them.
- I have more energy through the work day.
- I am proud of myself to finally be seeing something through to completion for once in my life, through thick and thin…and am excited to see how I can apply these life lessons to other areas of my life.
