New Salad Idea with New Favorite Salad Dressing: Primal Kitchen’s Thousand Island

About a year ago I identified food sensitivities and removed them from my diet. The nature and amount of foods make it difficult to find prepared foods that I can eat. I am even unable to eat most gluten-free and vegan foods.

So when I come across a product that I can eat and tastes good, it feels like a huge win. I get so excited and want to share for those who might be in a similar position as myself.

Salad dressings have been one of the hardest items to find, as I cannot have mustard and sesame, among many other things. Those two knock most dressings out of the running for me.

Recently I have been exploring Primal Kitchen’s Salad Dressings. While I cannot consume all of them, there are a few that have become my favorite. They have literally added variety that I did not have to date. I am back to eating a lot more salads as a result.

Primal Kitchen’s Thousand Island dressing is one of my new favorites. In fact, I have already incorporated it in a few different ways.

  • Dressing for a grilled chicken sandwich
  • Dressing for coleslaw
  • Dressing for salad (described below)

Simple Salad

  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Grape Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Black Olives
  • Bacon would be a great addition as well. I can’t eat pork though.
